CORA COHEN—Violent abstractions in tender colors, with a wide variety of textures and finishes, from milky resin pours to coarse gobs of pure pigment. In one very fine untitled painting, a deep, dark purple cloud floats massively against a copper-flecked wasteland. Reports of the death of Abstract Expressionism may have been premature. Through Nov. 1. (McCoy, 41 E. 57th St. 319-1996.)
